Annmarie Golioto, M.D., earned her medical degree at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – NJ Medical School (now Rutgers New Jersey Medical School), Newark, N.J. She completed a pediatrics internship and residency and neonatal medicine fellowship at Duke University Medical Center, Durham, N.C. Most recently, she was medical director, Newborn ICU at Yale-New Haven Hospital, Saint Raphael campus. She is an attending neonatologist and assistant clinical professor in pediatrics, Yale-New Haven Hospital. Her medical areas of interest include breathing difficulties in the full-term infant, supportive care of the infant born at 34-37 weeks and breastfeeding support for mothers and newborns. She joins The Hospital of Central Connecticut as director of Nurseries and practices at The Hospital of Central Connecticut.
Bariatric and Minimally Invasive Surgery
Edward J. Hannoush, M.D., earned his medical degree at Universidad Central de Venezuela, Caracas, Venezuela. He completed a general surgery internship and residency at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – NJ Medical School (now Rutgers New Jersey Medical School), Newark, N.J.; a research fellowship at General Surgery Basic Science Laboratory, University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – NJ Medical School; and a bariatric and minimally invasive fellowship at Yale University, Yale-New Haven Hospital. He is fluent in Spanish. His surgical areas of interest include weight loss (e.g., laparoscopic gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, gastric banding), laparoscopic hernia, complex abdominal wall hernia, varied gastrointestinal procedures. Akhilesh K. Jain, M.D., earned his medical degree at University College of Medical Sciences, University of Delhi, New Delhi, India. He completed a general surgery residency at Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi; general surgery internship at Providence Hospital, Wayne State University, Southfield, Mich.; general surgery residency, Charleston Area Medical Center, West Virginia University, Charleston, W.Va.; and a vascular and endovascular surgery fellowship at Yale University. Surgical areas of interest include open and minimally invasive treatment of aortic aneurysms, carotid artery and peripheral vascular diseases.
