Dr. Smith joins Doctors of Central Connecticut

Peter Davis Smith, M.D., an internist, has joined The Hospital of Central Connecticut’s medical staff. He practices at the Doctors of Central Connecticut (DOCC) primary care office in Unionville, with a focus on adult and adolescent primary care.
At the DOCC Unionville office, 1825 Farmington Ave., Smith also sees adolescents, starting at age 15.
Smith earned his medical degree at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, Cleveland. He completed an internal medicine internship at MetroHealth Medical Center, Cleveland; an internal medicine residency at the University of Connecticut, where he was also a chief resident of internal medicine. Smith is also medical director and a staff physician at Wesleyan University Davison Health Center, Middletown. Smith is president-elect of New England College Health Association.
