Diabetes Prevention Lecture at New Britain General Hospital
New Britain [September 09 2005] -
New Britain General Hospital will present “The ABCs of Diabetes Prevention,” a free lecture for the public, on Tuesday, Sept. 13.
Michael Radin, M.D., of the Joslin Diabetes Center affiliate at New Britain General Hospital, will discuss simple strategies for preventing diabetes, which is increasing at an alarming rate throughout the country. The lecture is free and presented in the cafeteria at New Britain General Hospital. Start time is 6:30 p.m. with light refreshments available at 6:15 p.m.
The lecture is part of the Hospital’s continuing community Health Wisdom Lecture Series.
Other upcoming lecture topics in Oct. and Nov. will include the insights of a breast cancer survivor and advice on making healthy eating delicious.
