Hospital of Central Connecticut makes Medical Staff appointments

New Britain [March 10 2008] - The Hospital of Central Connecticut’s board of directors has approved the following medical staff appointments:

Emergency Medicine
Adam Corrado, M.D., has been named an attending physician, Department of Emergency Medicine. He earned his medical degree from Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University, Chicago. He completed a transitional year internship at the Hospital of Saint Raphael, New Haven; and a residency in emergency medicine at Los Angeles County University of Southern California Medical Center, Los Angeles. He is in practice at The Hospital of Central Connecticut, (860) 224-5771.

Medicine
Adnan A. Javaid, M.D., has been named an attending physician/chief resident, Department of Medicine. He earned is medical degree from St. Christopher’s College of Medicine, in England. He completed a general surgery internship at Atlanta Medical Center, Atlanta; and an internal medicine residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center, Farmington. He is in practice at The Hospital of Central Connecticut, (860) 224-5661.

Alina Osnaga, M.D., has been named an attending physician in family medicine, Department of Medicine. She earned her medical degree from Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Romania. She completed a residency in family medicine, East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine, Greenville, N.C. She is in practice at Prohealth Physicians, 120 West Main St., Plainville, (860) 747-0411.

Beje Thomas, M.D., has been named an attending physician/chief resident, Department of Medicine. He earned his medical degree from University of Debrecen Medical & Health Science Center, Hungary. He completed an internal medicine internship at Michael Reese Hospital, Chicago; and an internal medicine residency at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, Farmington. He is in practice at the Hospital of Central Connecticut, (860) 224-5661.

Rosalind van Stolk, M.D., has been named an attending physician, gastroenterology, Department of Medicine. A physician in practice for over 25 years, she earned her medical degree from McGill University, Canada. She completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in gastroenterology, Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Cleveland. She is now at Digestive Disease Consultants, 1 Liberty Square, New Britain, (860) 229-9688.

Radiology
Dena Miller, M.D., has been named an attending physician, diagnostic radiology, Department of Radiology. She earned her medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York City. She completed a residency in radiology, Yale-New Haven Hospital; and a fellowship in women’s imaging at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston. She is in practice at Mandell and Blau, 40 Hart St., New Britain, (860) 229-2059.
