Dear Friends and Neighbors,
I have exciting news to share. On October 1, New Britain General and Bradley Memorial Hospitals are merging to form The Hospital of Central Connecticut.
Both Hospitals have worked together for more than a decade and the merger will solidify our successful partnership. The result will be a larger and stronger hospital, with more resources to serve you better.
- We'll still have both campuses, which will be known as The Hospital of Central Connecticut at New Britain General and The Hospital of Central Connecticut at Bradley Memorial.
- We'll still have the same services, along with the same outstanding physicians, nurses, and staff.
- Our combined strength and size will help us attract the best and brightest practitioners and enable us to acquire the most advanced technology.
- This ensures that Central Connecticut residents have access to world-class care, close to home.
In other words, things will be very much the same, only better.
Both New Britain General and Bradley Memorial have long, proud histories of providing you with extraordinary healthcare. We look forward to continuing this tradition as The Hospital of Central Connecticut - the hospital you already know and trust.
Sincerely,
Laurence A. Tanner, President and Chief Executive Office,
The Hospital of Central Connecticut
at New Britain General and Bradley Memorial
