Attention visitors
This is the time of year when a stomach ailment known as Norovirus is common in the community. Symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. If you or someone in your household has these symptoms,
please do not visit the hospital until symptoms have been gone for at least 48 hours or you may spread the disease to others.
For your safety and the safety of our patients,
we may use extra precautions on units where patients have been admitted with the virus,
or we may restrict visiting.
Please remember to thoroughly cleanse your hands before and after visiting a patient, not just now, but frequently each day, as this is one of the most effective ways to prevent diseases from spreading.
