Robert Napoletano

Robert Napoletano, MD

Dr. Napoletano is associate chief of Surgery at The Hospital of Central Connecticut and co-director of the Vascular Center. He is board-certified in general and vascular surgery. He earned his medical degree from Boston University and completed his internship and residency in general surgery at New Britain General Hospital.

He has served as an attending surgeon and head of the Vascular Surgery Section at the hospital, is a clinical instructor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Connecticut and teaches surgical residents and medical students at The Hospital of Central Connecticut. He is in private practice with Grove Hill Medical Center, (860) 826-4457.

Scott Fecteau

Scott Fecteau, MD

Dr. Fecteau is an associate attending physician with the hospital's Department of Surgery and is board-certified in vascular surgery. He earned his medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency in general surgery at the University of Connecticut.

He was a post doctoral research fellow at Yale University School of Medicine Department of Surgery, Division of Organ Transplantation & Immunology. He completed a fellowship in vascular surgery at Albany Medical College, Albany, N.Y. He is in practice with Vascular Associates of Connecticut,

Akella S. V. Sarma

Akella S.V. Sarma, MD

Dr. Sarma is a senior attending physician with the hospital's Department of Surgery and is board-certified in general surgery. He earned his medical degree from Andhra Medical College in Visakhapatnam, India and completed internships at King George Hospital, Visakhapatnam, India, and Blackburn Royal Infirmary, Blackburn, England.

He completed residencies at Lancaster Royal Infirmary, Lancaster, England and Halifax Roayl Infirmary, Halifax, England. After coming to the United States, he completed additional residencies at the former New Britain General Hospital and at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital in Bronx, N.Y.

He was New Britain General's chief Surgery resident from 1980-81, then completed a fellowship in Surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital in Hartford. He is an associate clinical professor at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Dr. Sarma is in practice with Surgical Associates Inc., (860) 225-9431.

Manny Katsetos

Manny Katsetos, MD

Dr. Katsetos is associate attending physician with the hospital's Department of Medicine and a co-director of the Vascular Center. He is board-certified in cardiology.

Dr. Katsetos earned his medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, completed his residency at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and his fellowship in cardiology at Tufts New England Medical Center.
