Ophthalmology
The Hospital of Central Connecticut offers a full spectrum of surgery and laser eye surgery procedures for glaucoma, diabetes, retinal disorders and cataracts. Additional ophthalmic procedures available include:
Trabeculectomy to reduce eye pressure in glaucoma cases
Eyelid procedures for turned in and turned out eyelids, and excessive eyelid skin
Corneal transplants, removal of eyelid or conjunctival growths
Strabismus surgery to correct cross-eye or lazy eye in children
Lacrimal surgery for blocked tear ducts
