Marc Kawalick

Marc Kawalick, MD

Dr. Kawalick is medical director of the Sleep Disorders Center. He is board-certified in sleep medicine and board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Kawalick completed his medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh, his internship the University of Connecticut Health Center and a residency at Boston University.

He is a senior attending neurologist at The Hospital of Central Connecticut; an assistant clinical professor of Neurology at the University of Connecticut Health Center; and a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Academy of Neurology, the American Society of Neurorehabilitation, and the American Sleep Disorders Association.

Andre Lerer

Andre Lerer, MD

Dr. Lerer is a senior attending neurologist The Hospital of Central Connecticut. He is board-certified in neurology and sleep medicine and a certified member of the American Society of Neurorehabilitation.

Dr. Lerer received his bachelor's degree in biology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He completed his internship in internal medicine from the University of Pittsburgh Affiliated Hospitals and a residency in neurology at the Boston University Affiliated Hospitals.

Dr. Lerer is an assistant clinical professor of Neurology at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and a member of numerous professional societies, including the American Academy of Neurology, American Sleep Disorders Association, American Society of Neurorehabilitation, and Connecticut Neurological Society.

Barry Spass

Barry Spass, MD

Dr. Spass is a senior attending neurologist and chief of Neurology at The Hospital of Central Connecticut. Dr. Spass is board -certified in neurology and sleep medicine and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

He earned his bachelor's degree from State University of New York at Buffalo and his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine internship at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh and a residency in neurology at Boston University School of Medicine.

Dr. Spass is also an assistant clinical professor of Neurology at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and an active member of the American Academy of Neurology, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the Connecticut Neurologic Society, and the American Society of Neurorehabilitation.
