MRI
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) allows physicians to view internal body structures without ionizing X-Ray radiation to detect developing diseases or abnormalities earlier.
MRI uses a powerful magnetic field and radio waves to produce clear images of body structures such as the brain, spine, and other vital organs.
The Hospital of Central Connecticut offers state-of-the art MRI services which provide advanced imaging capabilities while providing maximum patient comfort.

The Bradley Memorial Campus was the first facility in the area to offer a high-performance, high-field open MRI scanner. The scanner offers faster scan times than MRI scanners with lower field strength and is open on all four sides for greater patient comfort.

The MRI services available at the New Britain General Campus are provided by MRI of New Britain. MRI of New Britain offers high-field Wide MRI Scanners which are capable of providing the most advanced studies while offering patients the comfort of a W I D E scanner.
