Caring team
The Hospital of Central Connecticut's caring team of healthcare professionals specializing in pediatrics includes board-certified pediatricians and specially trained nurses.
Together they treat children with a wide variety of illnesses and conditions.
We offer:
- Emergency care at our Bradley Memorial and New Britain General campuses
- Pediatric inpatient unit at our New Britain General campus. Pre-hospitalization tours are available for children and their family members to help ease the anxiety of an upcoming hospital stay.
- Parental accompaniments - A parent can stay with his or her child in the OR until the child falls asleep.
Family-centered care
Parents are important members of our care team! As part of our commitment to family-centered care, staff on the Pediatrics unit and Family BirthPlace invite parents or guardians to participate in medical rounds discussions and decisions about their child's care. We also provide cots for parents or guardians to stay with their child on Pediatrics, and more flexible visiting hours on Pediatrics and the Family BirthPlace. Learn more about
