Dr. Finkelstein is chief of Emergency Medicine at the Hospital of Central Connecticut. Board-certified in emergency medicine, he earned his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, N.Y.
Dr. Finkelstein completed his internship in internal medicine at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center in New Brunswick, N.J.; his residency in emergency medicine at Joint Military Medical Centers in San Antonio, Tex.; and a fellowship at the Emergency Medicine Foundation and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. He is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians.

Dr. Bugai earned his medical degree from Universidad del Noreste in Tampico, Mexico. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Waterbury Hospital. Dr. Bugai is board-certified in internal medicine.

Dr. Buono is associate chief of Emergency Medicine at the Hospital of Central Connecticut. He earned his medical degree from American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine, Montserrat, West Indies, and completed his residency in internal medicine at the former New Britain General Hospital.

Dr. Carrado is board-certified in emergency medicine. He earned his medical degree from Finch University of Health Sciences at The Chicago Medical School; completed his internship at the Hospital of Saint Raphael, New Haven; and his residency at the Los Angeles County and University of Southern California (LAC+USC) Medical Center.

He completed his residency at Hartford Hospital, the University of Connecticut Health Center and Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford. Dr. Eversgerd is board-certified in emergency medicine. He received his medical degree at Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his integrated residency in emergency medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Farmington. Dr. Eversgerd is proficient in Spanish and Portuguese.

Louis G. Graff IV, MD
Dr. Graff is associate chief of Emergency Medicine at the Hospital of Central Connecticut. Board-certified in emergency medicine and internal medicine, he earned his medical degree from Harvard Medical School. He completed residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in nephrology at St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester, Mass.

Rene A. Hipona, MD, FAAEM, FACEP
Dr. Hipona is associate chief of Emergency Medicine at the Hospital of Central Connecticut. He is board-certified in emergency medicine. He earned his medical degree from Far Eastern University, Manila, Philippines and completed an internship at Yale University.
He completed his residency in internal medicine at Yale University and his residency in emergency medicine at Brown University, Providence, R.I. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine and American College of Emergency Physicians.

Dr. Mesologites earned his medical degree from the University of Athens, Athens, Greece. He completed an internship in internal medicine at Greater Baltimore Medical Center, Baltimore, and a residency in internal medicine at Bridgeport Hospital.
Dr. Mesologites completed two pulmonary fellowships, at the University of Connecticut John Dempsey Hospital and at Hartford Hospital.

Marc N. Roy, MD, FAAEM, FACEP
Dr. Roy is board-certified in emergency medicine. He received his medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in emergency medicine at Tufts/Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Mass.
Before joining HCC, Dr. Roy was assistant chief of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Womack Army Medical Center in Fort Bragg, NC. Dr. Roy served as a battalion surgeon at Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom, where he worked alongside members of the Afghan National Health Service to provide emergency medical care to military forces.
He is a fellow of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine and American College of Emergency Physicians.

Jan Zislis, MD, FACEP
Dr. Zislis is assistant medical director for the Department of Emergency Medicine and director of emergency ultrasound, director of emergency department education and coordinator of Emergency Medical Services. Dr. Zislis is board-certified in emergency medicine.
He earned his medical degree from the Technion-Rappaport Faculty of Medicine in Haifa, Israel. He completed an integrated residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Connecticut Health Center, Hartford, and St. Francis hospitals. Dr. Zislis is proficient in Russian, Hebrew, and Spanish.
