New Britain General campus
In July 2006, the hospital began the first of a three-phase project to add 10,000 square feet and 11 beds to the Samuel "Sy" Birbaum Emergency Department in New Britain. The project also includes improvements to enhance efficiency, comfort, privacy and technology.
