Individualized care
The Joslin Diabetes Center Affiliate at The Hospital of Central Connecticut provides individualized care for people 18 and older with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes, as well as pregnant women with diabetes.
The Affiliate has three offices:
- New Britain General campus, 100 Grand St. (directions)
- Bradley memorial campus, 81 Meriden Ave., Southington (directions)

As a Joslin patient, you will be taught to manage your diabetes by incorporating a team approach.

We work closely with your personal physician, who is also part of the team.
Self-care and self-management
We also help people with diabetes take charge of their own health and well-being, offering individual and group education programs to give patients the tools they need to avoid diabetes complications and maintain better health throughout their lives.
Other hospital programs and services
The hospital also offers a number of other metabolic and endocrine services, including the Weigh Your Options weight-loss programs, a Center for Bariatric Surgery and Endocrine & Bone Health center.
