Milton J. Sands, M.D.
Dr. Sands is medical director for The Hospital of Central Connecticut's Cardiovascular Services. He is board - certified as a Diplomate by the American Board of Internal Medicine and a Diplomate by the subspecialty board of cardiovascular disease.

Dr. Sands earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He completed an internship at Pennsylvania Hospital and his residency at Jefferson Medical College and Hospital in Philadelphia. He also completed two fellowships, one in pulmonary disease and the other in cardiovascular disease at Temple University Health Science Center in Philadelphia.
Dr. Sands is an associate clinical professor of Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine and a professor of medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Physicians. He is also a member of the Aerospace Medical Association.
