Pre-op education
All patients scheduled for surgery are required to view an on-line education module. Questions regarding hospitalization can be directed to the Bariatric Clinical Coordinator, 1-866-668-5070.
Bariatric Surgery Support Group
The Hospital of Central Connecticut offers a free Bariatric Surgery Support Group that meets 6-7:30 p.m. the first Thursday of each month at the Farmington office, 11 South Road, Suite 130.
Restart program
Even with surgery, losing weight and maintaining weight-loss can be challenging. Sometimes, weight regain may occur.
Restart is a behavioral treatment program developed for those who have had bariatric surgery and are struggling with weight regain. This six-session program helps participants identify behaviors/habits that have made weight loss difficult and provides tools and support to "restart" the weight -loss journey. Classes are led by a behavioral health counselor.

Meets every other Wednesday, 5:30-6:45 p.m.
