Golf tournament raises nearly $76,000 for hospital
[June 18 2013] -
The 23rd annual golf tournament held by The Hospital of Central Connecticut New Britain General campus Auxiliary June 4 raised over $75,700 for the hospital.
Proceeds will go toward the Auxiliary's $1 million pledge for the hospital's new cancer center, a state-of the-art facility that will consolidate outpatient services in one convenient location and allow for future expansion of cancer care. The nearly 70,000-square-foot facility is being built on the New Britain/Plainville line, near the New Britain Department of Motor Vehicles office.
Thank you to the sponsors, players and volunteers who helped make the golf tournament a success.
