The New Britain General campus is a major teaching affiliate of the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and is a clinical education site for physicians, nurses and many other healthcare professionals. Widely known for its centers of excellence, this campus includes the Center for Joint Care, the George Bray Cancer Center, the Joslin Diabetes Center Affiliate, the Sleep Disorders Center, the Ferdinand Sauer, MD Family Birthplace, and a Top 100 Critical Care Unit.

With 330 inpatient beds, 32 bassinets and a busy Emergency Department that experiences nearly 70,000 visits annually, the New Britain General campus' success is built on outstanding programs and services and on its highly skilled and committed employees.
